Sun Devils 3-0!

Arizona State continues to roll as they beat Illinois who is a very solid team by a score of 51-24. Brock Osweiler once again had a huge day as he went 24 of 51 for 467 yards and 5 touchdowns. When asked about his thoughts on Brock's fast start he said" I think Brock is staking his claim as one of the best quarterbacks in the Nation, it has been huge for us that he has been able to do this in his first season as a starter. We are thrilled with his production, and would like him to keep up his pace. One thing that makes Brock so dangerous is he spreads the ball around, look at our receiver stats four guys had over 90 yards." The game itself started pretty competitive, as after the first quarter it was 14-20 for ASU, but the game turned when Star corner Omar Bolden got a pick to start the second quarter which led to another passing touchdown to AJ Pickens. From that point on it was all Sun Devils as they are looking to show themselves as a Top 20 team.

Next up for the Sun Devils they will try to beat a team that they haven't beat for 11 years, when they play USC. USC is on the cusp of being ranked much like Illinois, and are already 1-0 in conference play. If you are the Sun Devils you want to beat this team, first of all to end the streak, but also so no one can say at the end of the season USC was the best team in the Pac 12 south. Arizona STate is trying to keep their great start going by beating a team that has had their number.
