With a back and forth 1st half including two Navy fumbles and a safety given up by WMU, Navy went into half time only up by two. Coach Derepentigny preached to his players about tightening up their game and executing plays. His players responded with a 2nd half blowout forcing two turnovers and not allowing WMU to score the rest of the game. This is a strong start by Navy, and Coach Derepentingy said he plans to keep on building and improving to become better each week. The sold out home crowd was on their feet the whole time and stayed till the clock read 0 even though it was raining the whole time. The Coach and players are grateful to have such loyal fans no matter the score or conditions.
