Coach, scoring two late TD's to edge out a victory against the Wyoming Cowboys, how do you feel about your team? With a bye week, and then Kent St. coming up do you think you will have your Wildcats ready to go down to Miami the following week?

KANSAS STATE DOES IT THE HARD WAY
_____This could be a long season in Manhattan after the Wildcats barely escaped with a 28-23 win over Wyoming, a Mountain West school. It wasn't until Collin Klein hit Chris Harper in the right side of the end zone for a 38-yard touchdown pass with 5 minute, 28 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter that put Kansas State back on track.
_____The Wildcats looked snappy and much faster than last year during the first-half of the ball game, but after a couple of mistakes early in the second-half they saw themselfs down.
_____"Being able to battle back and come away with the "W" really means something to me," said DaaVeed LooEece.
_____Wyomings' Smith threw for 227 yards and one score on 13-for-26 passing. The first pass attempt of his college career was intercepted when the ball slipped out of Smith's hand.
_____"Played hard enough to win," Cowboys coach Dave Christensen said. "It's just one of those deals. You got to close the show."
_____"It surely wasn't a clean or pretty win, but it's a win," LooEece said.
_____"We have two full weeks until we play Kent State and by golly we'll be ready, regarding Miami we are taking it one game at a time. You can't over look any team at this level."
Collin Klein played well enough to win. _______________Ray Kibble was dominate with 3 SKs.
